Delicious chicken noodles, and the most popular chicken noodles in metro city become very famous places for have lunch and dinner for many students in my city. This food stall has name “Mie Jum”. You could find this food stall at 38 streets from Campus (East Metro) Lampung, Indonesia.

I don’t know why? This food stall becomes the most of choice of students in around Metro. The costumers of this food stall are Students of university, Senior high school, Junior high school and society.

The age of this food stall is 3 years. Actually, this food stall become more famous when 2011 caused by the students those always buy on this food. This food stall provided two kind of food. The fist is meat ball (Bakso), and then the second is chicken noodle. Of course the price of this food is not too expensive, the price of one bowl of chicken noodles is for about Rp. 7000,- and Rp. 9000,- for Bakso. And there were fruit juice on beside of this food stall. The price of juice per glass is Rp. 2500,- absolutely it is very cheap. 
A lot of costumers choose this place to have this chicken noodle and meat ball. More than 150 people that buy on this place every day.  I and my friend often buy chicken noodle in this place. And you know what? The taste is very delicious. So that why? I’d like to have this chicken noodle so much. Not only because the price that is very economic but also the seller is so respectful to all of the costumers.

Here they are the ingredient, if you want to make chicken noodle by the way Indonesian manner. You need to prepare these stuffs:
The Materials:
1 Kg chicken noodles
150 ml chicken oil
150 ml soy sauce
4-5 grams of chicken meat (Boiled and cut into pieces)
 4 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
3 tablespoons of soy Britain
2-4 stalks of spring onion (chopped)
Caisin or Taicin (Green Vegetable)

For Seasoning:
4-6 Cloves Garlic
6 Pieces of red onion
2 teaspoons of coriander
2-4 cm Turmeric
2-4 Ginger
5-7 pecans

The broth:
2,5 litters of boil water
1 kilo of chicken bones
2-5 teaspoons of salt or as you want
2-3 teaspoons of pepper powder

How to make chicken noodle easily:
1.     Broth: Boil the water, put the chicken bones, add the pepper powder and salt wait until fragrant.
2.     Sauté all of the crushed spices wait until fragrant and put the chicken pieces in it. Wait till it is well done.
3.     Now, put 3-5 tablespoons of oil in bowl, and 1/7 of seasoning.
4.     Boil the noodles and give the caisin or taicin vegetable that you have cut in pieces. Boil it till well done. Then put it on the bowl.
5.     Sprinkle the fried onion and leeks on the top of chicken noodle, don’t forget to give the water soup in it.

The most important tip for making this food is placed on the chicken noodle oil.
Here they are the recipe to make it, Take the chicken skin and fat, heat on fire. Add the 3-6 gloves of garlic (crushed). Heat and wait until it has oil of the noodles. And it should give to your bowl before you put the noodle.

Hari ini saya akan berbagi masalah kunjungan kuliner. Kunjungan kuliner daerah berikut yaitu membahas tentang ke unikan dan rasa khas masakan yaitu mie ayam. Mie ayam yang berikut ini sangat terkenal ke enakannya, dari cita rasa yang begitu menggoda lidah saya, sehingga saya sampai menulis di blog saya ini.

Ya sebut saja Mie Jum, itu adalah nama warung yang menyediakan mie ayam terlezat di kota metro (lampung) tepatnya di Kampus Metro Timur. Kenapa saya meliput kedai ini. Semua ini dikarenakan banyaknya pengunjung yang untuk berjajan di tempat ini. Dan kebanyakan dari pengunjung ya itu peljara, mahasiswa, walaupun banyak juga dari masyarakat.

Tempat ini sudah menjadi langganan tetap para pelajar untuk makan siang, dan makan malam. Memang tempat dari kedai makanan yang satu ini terlihat seder hana, akan tetapi rasa dan keramahaan penjual menjadi salah satu ciri kenapa tempat ini banyak yang mengunjungi dan menjadi tempat langganan bagi para konsumen.
Di tempat ini menjual 2 tipe makanan yaitu bakso dan mie ayam tentunya. Setelalah beberapa interview yang saya lakukan kepada penjual, kenapa bisa membuat mie ayam se enak ini. mereka menjawab ini berkat resep rahasia dari racikan bumbu tradisional warisan keluarga kami.

Lalu, saya sempat Tanya sedikit masalah pemakaian pengenyal dan bahan campuran lain. Apakah anda menggunakan bahan tersebut? lalu dengan jujur mereka menjawab, “Tidak”. Karena selai bahan tersebut dapat merusak kesehatan, bahan tersebut akan mengubah rasa makasakan kami. Kami mempunyai sedikit kunci dalam memasak, semua bahan yang kami sajikan adalah bahan segar. Yang dimana, satu hari kami buat satu hari itupun kami juga harus menghabiskannya. Jadi kualitas rasa dan kekenyalan dari masakan kami tidak diragukan kembali, tutup penjual.

Oleh sebab itu menambah rasa kenyamanan saya dalam membeli jajanan di warung tersebut.
Selain itu, kebersiahan tempat sungguh menjadi kepuasan pelanggan, ketika menikmati makanan di kedai tersebut.

Nah, dari sedikit cerita saya di atas mudah-mudahan kita bisa menggambil kesimpulan bahwasanya. Cita rasamasakan Indonesia yang tiada duanya, yaitu terletak pada racikan-racikan tradisional yang menggunakan rempah-rempah asli, yang tidak menggunakan bahan kimia atau sejenisnya. Dan untuk memulai usaha khususnya masalah makanan itu bergantung juga pada Ke-ramahan Penjual dari toko tersebut, dan kebersiahan. Keadaan yang seperti itulah yang dicari-cari para pelanggan. Dan tentunya, dengan kualitas harga yang terjangkau, atau tidak mahal.

Oleh sebab itu kedai makanan Mie jum ini digemari oleh banyak pelajar, mahasiswa , dan masyarakat umum tentunya.

Jika anda suatu saat mampir ke Metro, jangan lupa mengunjungi tempat berikut ini. Untuk merasakan makanan khas dari daerah metro ini dengan harga yang terjangkau. :D

Akan tetapi perlu di ingat se baik-baik apapun dan seenak-enak apapun makanan yang kita konsumsi. Akan lebih baik jika di imbangi dengan sayuran dan buah-buahan. Mengkonsumsi mie dan bakso juga tidak baik buat kesehatan jikalau terlalu sering.

Jadi, kembali lagi kepada kita sekalian. Kita harus tahu porsi dan makanan apa yang tepat untuk dikonsumsi kita sehari-hari. Pada dasarnya semua jenis makanan menyehatkan akan ber efek tidak baik pula bagi kesehatan jika kita mengkonsumsi terlalu berlebihan.

Rujak Noodles is a soup combine with vinegar. Rujak noodles comes from Palembang Indonesia, but this food has already consumed by the most society especially in Sumatra and Java Island.

The taste of Rujak Noodles is salty and hot, but it is very delicious for us. The soup of Rujak could make for Empek-empek and others food. Not only Indonesian, but also many foreigner come from other country would like try this food, when they are in vacation like in Jogjakarta.

For attention, before you will eat this soup. You had better to have some meal before. Because, the vinegar could make your stomach turn around or got stomachache. ;)

Here they are the recipes:
300 grams of wet white noodles soun
150 grams of wet yellow noodles
 150 grams of sprouts
3 cucumbers (cut into pieces)
150 grams of Empek-empek (sliced in pieces as your taste)
30 grams of dried shrimp
150 grams of tofu (cut into pieces)

Seasoning for Rujak suun that should be mashed and boiled with vinegar:
300 grams of brown sugar
10 pieces of curly red chilies
3 pieces of red chilies
2-3 teaspoons to taste
300 ml of water

How to make it:
Boil water and all the seasoning. (Wait until it has boiled)
Put all the ingredients such as noodles, tofu, cucumber, and others into bowl. Then next add the vinegar or soup that you have boild.

Serve it. :)

How to make Emping Melinjo (Cracker chips) Completely, and How to Fry it

Emping is one of our traditional foods that have spread into many places and provinces. Emping come from Javanese. This food made from seeds of Gnetum gnemon (species of Gnetum) that lives in southeast asia and western pacific ocean. We could find this plan in Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and others.

and western pacific ocean. We could find this plan in Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and others. Usually the seeds use to make sour vegetable soup or cracker chips like Emping.

So, We could create our traditional foods base on our place, region, province, and culture. That’s why we try to introduce our traditional food to you all. Indonesia is interesting.

Today, I am going to show you how to make cracker chips from Melinjo seeds.

Ingredients:
1 kilo of Melinjo seeds
Mortar
Spatula

How to make Emping:

The Fist step take the Melinjo seeds from the tree, so they are going to be like this picture.

 Then peel the leather from the seeds.

Next, Roast the melinjo on the frying pan but don't use frying oil.
after that, crashed the melinjo until flat and the leather clean from it. Like this picture.

Next, Dry the Melinjos that have been flat under the sun, wait until it becomes dry and hard.

Then the last step, fry the dry Melinjos into frying fan use frying oil. (wait until well done) then lift.
Serve it. ;)
You may add a little of salt to taste to make it more delicious.

Pindang catfish is very famous in Sumatra Island. It was different from Fish Pindang like in Java Island which has been made by tuna steam.

This food uses catfish to make it and there were much water as it soup. Here they are the recipes:
Ingredients:
800 grams of catfish (Ikan Patin)
1000 ml of water

Seasoning that should be mashed:
10 red onions
5 cloves of garlics
6 big red chilies

You need to steam these ingredients as well:
6 cm galangal (thinly sliced)
3 cm turmeric (sliced)
4 cm ginger (sliced)
4 stalks lemongrass (crushed)
15 pieces of cayenne pepper
5 green tomatoes (cut)
4 tamarinds
4 bay leaves
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3½ salt or to taste
2 teaspoons of brown sugar

How to make Pindang Catfish (Ikan Patin)
Wash the catfish, the cut into 4-6 parts or as you want.
Boil water with all of the ingredients of that you have steamed (wait until boiled). Enter catfish and other seasoning, using low heat to cook it (wait until all of the flavors absorbed in the fish just need a few minutes). Lift it.
Serve it.  Give basil to make it more fragrant. ;)
