Rujak Noodles is a soup combine with vinegar. Rujak noodles comes from Palembang Indonesia, but this food has already consumed by the most society especially in Sumatra and Java Island.

Rujak Noodles is a soup combine with vinegar. Rujak noodles comes from Palembang Indonesia, but this food has already consumed by the most society especially in Sumatra and Java Island.
The taste of Rujak Noodles is salty and hot, but it is very delicious for us. The soup of Rujak could make for Empek-empek and others food. Not only Indonesian, but also many foreigner come from other country would like try this food, when they are in vacation like in Jogjakarta.

For attention, before you will eat this soup. You had better to have some meal before. Because, the vinegar could make your stomach turn around or got stomachache. ;)

Here they are the recipes:
300 grams of wet white noodles soun
150 grams of wet yellow noodles
 150 grams of sprouts
3 cucumbers (cut into pieces)
150 grams of Empek-empek (sliced in pieces as your taste)
30 grams of dried shrimp
150 grams of tofu (cut into pieces)

Seasoning for Rujak suun that should be mashed and boiled with vinegar:
300 grams of brown sugar
10 pieces of curly red chilies
3 pieces of red chilies
2-3 teaspoons to taste
300 ml of water

How to make it:
Boil water and all the seasoning. (Wait until it has boiled)
Put all the ingredients such as noodles, tofu, cucumber, and others into bowl. Then next add the vinegar or soup that you have boild.

Serve it. :)

Fruits soup is healthy food and drink for us. This soup is very appropriate to us to consume when the weather is hot. Not only vitamin that you will get, but also the fruits frees could make you taste different to make better your mood.
The recipe is very easy to have it, and you could also find the fruits around the market (fruits store). So you don’t need to go to Indonesia if you want to try this soup, just make by yourself.

Ingredients:
200 grams of melons
200 grams of apples
200 grams of mangoes
200 grams of pineapples
200 grams of avocados
100 grams of young coconut
900 ml fresh milk
Sugar to taste
Ice

How to make Soup Fruits (sop buah):
Cut all of the fruits into small pieces, add all of the contain into a bowl give the ice.
Serve ;)

The stews Jengkol (Semur Jengkol), How to cook Semur Jengkol Indonesian Traditional Recipe


Indonesian unique foods today will share about our traditional food and it is named Semur Jengkol. Most of Indonesian know about this food because it is very unique food and smeel stink. But after you have made semur jengkol, the taste will be different than before, absolutely its taste delicious.
Other name of jengkol is Archidedron Pauciflorum, is the plant that grows mostly in Asia.
Semur Jengkol is one of Indonesian Traditional Food
Ingredients:
700 grams of Jengkol (peeled) and clean it
2 liters of water to boil the Jengkol
Frying oil
500 ml of coconut milk

The seasoning that should be mashed:
4 cloves of garlic
6 red onions
3 pieces of pecan
2-4 cm cinnamon
2 Nutmegs
2-3 teaspoons of peppers
20-23 grams of brown sugar
3 teaspoons of salt

How to make the stews jengkol (Semur Jengkol):
Boil some of water then add the jengkol, wait till it boild and cook. You have to exchange the water after boiled, repeat this action until 2-4 times to get well done.
After that drain the jengkol until dried up, next hit it so the jengkol got flat.
Then next mix the seasoning that you have mashed with jengkol while you sauté it, add the coconut milk. You have to wait until it become thick and well done.

Aunu Senerbre is one of our traditional foods from Papua (New Guinea). Probably some of you curious about this recipe, because this recipe is really natural then it didn’t need many ingredients to make it.

Aunu Senerbre is one of our traditional foods from Papua (New Guinea). Probably some of you curious about this recipe, because this recipe is really natural then it didn’t need many ingredients to make it.
If you want to know, how to make it and how it looks like? I will share the Indonesian Traditional Recipe from Papua New Guinea.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of anchovies (you must choose the anchovies that’s still wet)
  • 3 taro leaves and trees (cut in pieces)
  • 1½ coconut (shredded)
  • 1½ teaspoons of salt or to taste

How to make it:

  1. The first step is “wash and rinse the anchovies wet then fry a half of cooked.
  2. Dry the taro leaves until it’s getting wilted then slice, and boil until it smooth (then lift and press or squeeze the water. Add the anchovies, coconut shredded, salt to the water.
  3. Then the last step is “steam it until cooked”.

Overview about Indonesian Traditional food today is Soup of Vegetable Nodes, it’s usually called Sayur Bening. The recipe of this soup also very simple because just need water, sugar, and salt. This food came from Central Java.

Overview about Indonesian Traditional food today is Soup of Vegetable Nodes, it’s usually called Sayur Bening. The recipe of this soup also very simple because just need water, sugar, and salt. This food came from Central Java.

Ingredients:

  • 900 cc of water
  • 3 pieces of corn (cut round like in the picture)
  • 1½ bunch of spinach leaves (sliced)
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 3 red onions (sliced thinly)
  • 3 garlics
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar or to taste
  • 2½ teaspoon of salt or according to your taste
  • Flavor

How to cook this soup (sayur bening):

  1. Boil water, enter the corn, red onion that you have sliced (wait until all cooked).
  2. Add the spinach and cover the pan (wait for about five minutes).
  3. And then add the salt, sugar and garlic that we have mashed.
  4. Give the flavor if you want (wait until it’s all done) then lift.
Serve it to your family while it’s warm. This soup is really good in hot cool weather. Once more that is really important is “You could change the basic ingredient of this food “spinach” to other vegetable like katuk leaves.  Good luck ;)
