Aunu Senerbre is one of our traditional foods from Papua (New Guinea). Probably some of you curious about this recipe, because this recipe is really natural then it didn’t need many ingredients to make it.

Aunu Senerbre is one of our traditional foods from Papua (New Guinea). Probably some of you curious about this recipe, because this recipe is really natural then it didn’t need many ingredients to make it.
If you want to know, how to make it and how it looks like? I will share the Indonesian Traditional Recipe from Papua New Guinea.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of anchovies (you must choose the anchovies that’s still wet)
  • 3 taro leaves and trees (cut in pieces)
  • 1½ coconut (shredded)
  • 1½ teaspoons of salt or to taste

How to make it:

  1. The first step is “wash and rinse the anchovies wet then fry a half of cooked.
  2. Dry the taro leaves until it’s getting wilted then slice, and boil until it smooth (then lift and press or squeeze the water. Add the anchovies, coconut shredded, salt to the water.
  3. Then the last step is “steam it until cooked”.
