Indonesian New Guinea (Irian Jaya) Traditional Food Sinole-nole

Sinole-nole is New Guinea food that uses sago as its basic material. It looks like unique food because of the appearance. This food also has a distinctive taste formed.


If you want to make this food. You have to provide the ingredients namely:

Ingredients:


  • a half kilos (1/2kg) of sago.
  • a half of coconut.
  • two spoons of sugar.
  • one spoon of butter or as your taste.
  • salt to taste.

How to cook sinole-nole:


  1. First dry the sago, then sifted. Next Grated coconut, enter to the frying pan that was included butter which melted, stir until dried.
  2. Mix the sago, sugar, salt, then enter to the frying-fan. Don't forget to stir well to, be careful do not let it burn. 
  3. You need time at least 15 minutes or more to get it well done. 
  4. Take it away from frying-pan and served.
