Soto is kind of soup that usually Indonesian people made. There are many kind of sotos here, but today I will show you how to make Tripe Soup (Soto Babat). These ingredients are very simple, and easy to find them out, just visit a shop next to your home.
Ingredients:
- Tripe (beef) 500grams
- Broth (beef) 500ml
- Coconut Milk, 500ml
- Seasoning soup, 3 spoons
- Two pieces of lime leaves
- One Lemon Grass then pound it
- Salt according to taste
- Sugar according to taste
- Two stalks of leek
- Fried onion
- Celery that you have sliced thinly
- Cooking oil
Additional Ingredients for complement the soup:
- Two eggs boiled
- Sauce
- One lemon
- Two tomatoes (sliced)
- Five pieces of Cabbage (sliced thinly)
How to cook Tripe Soup (Soto Babat)
- Heating the oil then fry the seasoning meat and lemongrass until it has a good smell(fragrant). Adding bee (tripe) and leek on it, stir well.
- Pouring broth then wait till it has bolied. Next Pouring coconut milk while stirring constantly until boling (cook in low heatting). After that give a little salt and sugar or according your taste.
- Prepare the cabbage and tomatoes in a bowl, then pour the soup of tripe (Soto Babat). Sprinkle celery and onion on the top of it.
- Serve with a complement. It's easy. Just give it to try by your self. :D
